I am a private seller and this is my 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback. This is a very rare model 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie and even rarer being an XL and a Fastback. This is an all original car, except for the drivetrain. * The paint and interior is all original, never been repainted. It does have some dings and minor dents here and there but never been wrecked or any body repair done. * All the outside trim and moldings are there and in decent shape. * The interior upholstery is all original and needs to be redone but usable. The dash pad is decent and only has one small crack near the speaker. The car came with the upgraded XL trim with bucket seats, center console, cranking vent windows, and extra trim pieces. The dash is all original, even the radio and clock. * This is an original air conditioned car and it is still mounted inside the car, however the compressor was removed from under the hood, but I have the compressor, all the hoses and brackets and they will go with the car. Unknown if it works, but worked when it was removed. * This is an original big block 390 ''Z" code car that has been upgraded to a 428 Cobra Jet from a 1970 Ford Mustang. It has a mild cam that make sounds great. Runs great and has less than 5000 miles on the engine since it was rebuilt. * The Ford cast iron headers are original to the car and still installed. * The transmission was upgraded to a C6 with a shift kit. * The rear end was upgraded to a Currie 9" Positraction. * The wheels are original American Racing wheels made for FORD and the Ford name is molded into the wheels. I do have the other cap missing in the picture. These wheels were a factory option and very very rare. * All the glass is original and in great shape except for the windshield, which is broken. I have a new rubber windshield seal that will come with the car but you will need to replace the windshield. All windows roll up and down with no issues. * This is an original Southern California car and has lived here all it's life. Originally bought at LJ Snow Ford in So Cal. It has no rust issues, just some minor surface rust as seen in the pictures. This car is driven weekly and drives great for a 50 year old car. Keep "it as is" or restore it, but its a great driver. It turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere it goes. * I don't know anything about shipping so you will have to arrange pick up. Rear end: Posi-traction Detroit Locker. 3.25 gear ratio, Currie axles 31 spline, rear end shorted 1" per side.
