Vehicle Detail

Low Reserve Auction on a very Rare Classic GM Vintage Buick. 1967 Buick Special 2-Door HT Coupe in all Original Condition, 300 CID V8 Engine 2bbl with factory Header Style Dual Exhaust. Smooth Shifting 3-Speed Manual Transmission on the column. Cold Original Factory in dash Air Conditioning and Heater. 134k Original Miles. Run and Drives Fantastic. Alarm System. Beautiful Near New BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires. The spare is the original 7.75 and the headlights are still T3. Engine sounds like it did the day I bought it with no noises or leaks. Original Interior, no rips, holes, tears or cuts. Still smells like 1967. No Rust or Major Dents. Always been in North Texas (No Salt) Stored properly. Clean Clear Title. Original owner for over 20 years. Very Unique Classic. Gets heads turned and conversations everywhere she goes. The only one found through Google was $20k. Just can't find these anymore. NADA High Retail lists this beauty at $6700. The Reserve for this auction is well below that. Strongly feel this Classic in this shape and with this factory combination, V8, HT, A/C, Manual is most likely one of the few left in the world, if not the only one left in the world. On May-07-13 at 13:03:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Just finished meeting with a local classic car collector. The very knowledgeable gentleman went over the Buick with a fine tooth comb for an hour and a half. Some of the findings need to be disclosed. No rust is in sight that the average person would see, including myself and I have had the car nearly 20 years. He felt the heater core had leaked long ago and has created some rust on the passenger floor board under the carpet. Also under the trunk mat there is some surface area he felt was from washing the car and not drying has created moisture corrosion, nothing devastating, but he felt it would need to be addressed for someone who would want to restore the car to factory condition. He said the car was overall a clean original and this type corrosion was to be expected. The gentleman still made me a very nice offer for the car, but the low reserve has been met and we are in full live auction now til the end here on eBay. It was also discovered that the Firewall Date Plate Number 43617 shows this car to be a Special Deluxe 2-Door Hard Top, although the Title states only Special, which I understand the Deluxe is not always added when transferring Titles. NADA Values this car up to $8.675. The gentlemans final assessment was that it was a Clean Unmolested Original Classic and is definitely a Scarce find. Someone is going to get a very good deal here. Thanks for your bids. Good Luck. http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1967/Buick/Special-Deluxe/2-Door-Hardtop/Values Original MSRP Low Retail Value This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning.
