It has a beautiful, Torch Red paint job that looks excellent. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is straight as an arrow and totally solid as a rock and rust free. It has all of its original sheet metal and one of the most solid ?55 T-Birds around. All of the chrome and trim is in overall great condition. Some of the original chrome has some minor pitting. This '56 T-Bird literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives! The Red and White interior is all in excellent condition. It has a new seat cover and new carpet but the rest of the interior is all original. The dash and gauge cluster is very bright and clean. Everything works excellent in the car. The only two things that don?t work are the radio and front to back portion on the power seat. Even the clock works. Inside the trunk is all very nice with the correct trunk material and jack! Mechanically, this '55 T-Bird is in excellent condition. It has its correct 292ci V8 engine that runs like a top. Under the hood is nicely detailed and looks awesome. This is one very fun car to go cruising in. It only has 62k original miles on it! This is a rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on.
