This auction is for a Cannondale MX400 with an X440 engine. My husband purchased this bike for himself, and was diagnosed with kidney failure shortly after. He put about an hour and a half on this bike.The bike was owned by someone named Elvis who worked for Cannondale, and it was retrofitted with the X440 engine by Cannondale, tested and sold to us.This bike was in our garage waiting for my husband to recover, which he has not and has decided that his days as a two wheeled speed demon are done. This bike ran great when it was parked, but now has a dead battery. Cannondale's were all hand built using good stuff. Ohlins suspension frontand rear, Nissin brakes, Rental bars, all aluminum frame, fuel injection and electric start just to name a few things. The bike is complete as shown in the photos and needs a battery. Please ask any questions you may have!
