I am selling my 1972 Volkswagen Convertible. I have owned this car for 3 years. When I bought this car it had a "Rebuilt from salvage" brand on title. I was told that this car had been repaired at a repair shop in California, and one of the former owners did not pay for the repairs. The repair shop sold it on a mechanics lien, thus the "Rebuilt from salvage" brand on the title. This car has not been restored. It is a good running 40 year old car. The paint is original. The only rust that I can find is on the undercarriage. There are two spots that are smaller than a dollar bill. There is also about a 3 inch scratch/dent on the front of the left rear fender. This car is a good looking, good running, fun car to drive. The top is soiled, but has no tears. Cost of a new top is under $500. Not needed now, but will in the next 5 years. Cars, like this one, sell for around $6,000. I have lowered the reserve price for quick sale.
