This 1970 Suzuki T-250 II “Hustler” was recently discovered in a retired Vintage Japanese motorcycle dealer’s storage warehouse. Amazingly this VIRTUAL TIME CAPSULE had been stored for many many years, hence the VERY LOW MILES of 7,393. This machines components were methodically and carefully disassembled as needed and refinished to OEM Japanese paint textures and plating techniques of that magical era. The fuel tank assembly and corresponding side panels were professionally refinished in the correct Redondo Blue with a computer color matching system of which a two part urethane candy color was applied for an outstanding “CORRECT” gloss and hue. NEW OLD STOCK trumpet muffler ends were obtained and installed to authenticate the restoration/survivor quality process. The left fork tube has some minor pitting on the surface, the diaphragm petcock assembly flows intermittently, and the horn does not always sound. A functional petcock assembly and NOS fork seals have been obtained and will be provided with the sale should you actually elect to ride this piece of Suzuki Japanese History. This bike starts, rides, shifts, brakes, and generally performs as if you had just ridden it off of a Suzuki Dealers showroom floor in that pinnacle era of the magical late 1960’s and super early 1970’s. As the images clearly present, all components of this bike are intact and are “VERY NICE”. The Muffler assemblies are rock solid with no dings or dents and have been media blasted and refinished with an industrial aircraft grade heat resistant semi gloss black finish. . Even the front and rear Suzuki Factory lead wheel weights are still intact plus an “era correct” New Old Stock correctly sized rear tire has been installed. As all of you Suzuki Collector, Hobbyist, and Aficionados are aware, this bike literally screams Japanese Nostalgia. This “EXACT SERIES” is literally the best executed, well proportioned, and just all around best looking series of all the “Hustler” series Suzuki’s, hands down. Plus the original color of Redondo Blue was (and still is) much more desirable than the putrid Aspen Yellow alternate color offered for the T-250 II’s. The original owners manual, parts catalog, sales brochure, a set of New Old Stock muffler baffles (should you elect to install them and dampen the very “sinister” sound these 250 two strokes possessed) and a clear Missouri title in my name will be provided with purchase. Rarely if ever does one of these Vintage Suzuki’s “EVER” show up on the pages of ebay or anywhere else for that matter, at least not in the outstanding condition of this VIRTUAL TIME CAPSULE.
