Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1970 Porsche 914 because I need to make room for other projects. I have had this car for over 10 years and never got around to completing it. Every summer I would drive it on nice weather days and planned on fixing it up.All of the following repairs were done less then 2000 miles ago:Rebuilt transmissionRebuilt brake calipersNew brakes and rotors turnedRebuilt carburetors - both of them rebuilt at the same timeNew valve cover gasketNew alternatorNew batteryNew Carpet interior and matching dash matChrome RimsStainless Steele rocker panels - custom madeDrivers bottom cushion re-done in leather, upper cushion has no tears or rips916 front bumperrear lower valanceNew sterio with AMP and speakersTune up What it needs:shift linkage kit - $99 on eBaydrivers side exterior door handle plastic piece - see photovalve job for better performancepassenger seat has some rips in it Last summer when I took the car out it ran great. Had it up to 105 MPH on a very rural piece of road.I started it up today and it idles great, but since it is not currently registered I did not take it out for a spin.Buyer to pay a non refundable $200 deposit via Paypal and remaining balance will be due withing 7 days via a cashiers check or money order.I am willing to drive it to a local (Salt Lake City area) shipping company of buyers choice if needed.Reserve is set at $2500Please email me with any questions. On Apr-25-13 at 09:54:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm selling my 1970 Porsche 914 because I need to make room for other projects.
