RARE 1978 PONTIAC TRANS AM HURST EDITIONThis cameo white Trans Am, which has been repainted once, is in a very good condition, with the exception of very minor rust spots. It is sitting on 235/70R15 BF Goodrich tires and the awesome original gold "snowflake" rims. This second generation F-body Trans Am was made in the Hurst edition. It was sporting the dark tinted Hurst hatches (t-top panels) and the t-handle shifter knob 4-speed with the Hurst logo connected to a Borg Warner T-10 4-speed manual transmission. Underneath the hood, you will find that 400 cubic inch L78 YH block good for 220HP. with only 61,606 original miles. This engine/manual transmission combo make that car a rare one, and also a real fun to drive. Open the door and you'll find inside the beautiful and almost perfect "custom" interior that was introduced for 1978 replacing the horse-collar style seats and plastic door panel lowers. This new interior was modern and featured a pillow back design. These comfortably firm bucket seats were made of Doeskin Vinyl in a Camel color and appear to be original to the car and look much fresher than their 35 year age would suggest. This car does not have air conditioned and the radio is not working.
