Vehicle Detail
Car has been re-listed due to lack of funding within agreed upon time limitations from previous winning bid. This car is a real Dodge Challenger Rallye (not cobled together to make a clone car) with non-matching #'s engine (BB Bored out Re-Built 400 to make the 408 C.I., 325 H.P. / 410 FT LBS Torque to the rear wheels tested on the DYNO) and has been adult owned most of its life (not abused or raced). Uses regular 87 Octane pump gas without pre-detonation and is very fast with a great exhaust tone that sounds like two Harley Davidson Softails side by side (See my YouTube Video). I am the 4th known owner and have owned this car for about 10 Years, and have had a great time with this car. But as with all great things its time to move on. This car has been garaged with heat and with a de-humidifier since owned by me, the previous owner had just finished the paint/repairs/engine work (Approx. 2500 miles on the re-built engine) and I bought the car to add more upgrades and finish the restoration. The rear end is 3.55:1 non-trac-lok. The upgrades to this car goes as follows: Detailed engine compartment, Just installed Raybestos PG PLUS Professional Grade Master Cylinder, Recent MOPAR Cast Aluminum High Capacity Water Pump, MOPAR Super Heavy Duty Starter, Recent 80 AMP Triple chrome plated alternator, Hi-temp wrapped Hedmen Headers, Recent Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold with matching Edelbrock Performer 750 CFM 4 barrel carburetor, Mopar Performance Aluminum Valve Covers / Air Intake, 2012 re-cored original copper/brass polished radiator (now has dual core from single), 2012 New Reproduction Viscous Fan Clutch, Recent re-production Polished Stainless-Steel Quad Exhaust Tips (just like O.E.M. Challenger tips except these will not corrode out), Recent New Year-1 triple plated front bumper, re-plated rear bumper, new headliner, AutoMeter Gages, Gabriel Hijackers, 14 inch re-finised original Rally Road Wheels (eight inch Mopar rear wheels with 60 Series BF Goodrich tires series tires on the rear, six inch 70 series on the front), Recent YEAR 1 Split eyebrow front spoilers with rear YEAR 1 deck lid spoiler, detailed rear undercarriage, and many more Mopar replacement parts too numerous to list. The paint was done approx. 12 years ago with some minor blems but still has a great shine (since it is housed in my garage). The right lower rear wheel well has some blems and bumps but has not changed since I bought the car 10 years ago so I know it is not rust. The starting price is very reasonable for a great turnkey driver car and the buy it now price is well below where a car of this condition/caliber should be. I would recommend seeing and driving this car in person to see what a fun car that it is. With a new high quality paint job this car could become a great show car!! I need to find a great home for this solid car. Boston Strong! :) My YouTube Video: http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCuqVwexEw8hiy69uZXz-jhw
