Vehicle Detail

1952 Buick Super Sedan. This is a very complete, running, 1952 Buick. I have a clear title in my name. This Buick is a dry western car with very little rust problems. There is surface rust, but very little in the way of rust through holes. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have taken photos from all sides and of the floors in the seating area and in the trunk. The engine sounds good, and starts easily. It has all of the exterior chrome and most of it is in excellent condition. It has the original Fireball straight eight cylinder engine and the original Dynaflow transmission. It also had the original 1952 Buick radio. The Buick needs a complete restoration, but it would require very little to get this old Buick to be a daily driver. Look at the trunk photos. It has the original trunk mats and all of the travel items needed for a trip. The original spare tire, first aid kit, bumper jack, as well as a storage box are still in the trunk. The newspapers in the trunk were dated 1963, and it appears that this was the last year the car was on the road. With a battery, and a little gas, the motor started right up. The gas tank has been drained and the car runs off of the original gas tank. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are buying. With this in mind, I will list the negative aspect of the car. 1. The car sat in a Utah farm field for many years. the side windows were broken out and the paint is worn out from sun bleaching. The front and rear windshields are in excellent condition. 2. The Dynaflow transmission has dried seals and leaks. It shifts and goes into reverse, but leaks fluid. 3. The keys were lost several years ago, and a "toggle switch" is used to turn the ignition off and on. The original gas pedal starter works as it should. 4. The interior is complete, but tattered and needs to be replaced. The original rear rope seat handles and ashtray in place. The headliner has been torn out, but the headliner bars are in place, as well as the sun-visors and rearview mirror. 5. It has three original hubcaps. It is missing one hubcap and the tires are weathered. Again, please look closely at all of the photos to determine the condition. In addition, don't hesitate to give me a call. My home phone number is (801) 745-0599. My name is Bob, and I would glad to talk with you about my Buick. I'm not a car dealer. I have too many projects and this one has to go. If you have less that 10 positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please give me a call or email me before bidding. I want this to be a good, straightforward, auction. Good luck bidding.
