Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1971 240Z. The car is in good condition inside and out and drives excellent. This is a daily driver type car, not perfect, but very nice. I believe I am the third owner and I bought the car from a friend about eight years ago. The car is always stored inside with cover and is 99% rust free, it does have one slight bubble on the right front fender as pictured. The interior has new carpeting and seat upholstery in black velour and the dash is original and NOT cracked. The wheels are American "Libra" racing wheels, they are missing their center caps. I have made many upgrades including a new "Motorsport Auto" blade type fuse box, rebuilt wiper motor, 280Z five speed transmission, BRE type front air dam and rear spoiler. I'm also including all my spare parts including an engine ('73 auto), 3.9 differential, etc. The following items do not work: clock, original AM radio and power antennae, reverse lights, rear defroster. Gas gauge is stuck on 3/4 (a good spare gauge is included). Also the differential is a little noisey on deceleration but works fine. The winning bidder will pay a deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours by Pay Pal and the balance is to be paid by cashier check, money order, or cash in person within 7 days of sale. Car is located near Reading PA. and the buyer must arrange for retrieval. On Apr-27-13 at 09:05:47 PDT, seller added the following information:Since the listing, I did locate a minor rust area under the battery tray in the rear of the R/H front wheel well. It appears to be where a metal patch was welded in and rust formed at the weld bead. it's approximately 3" in length. The reserve has not been met yet, but still, I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
