This car is exceptional, a real time capsule. This is a one owner 30,990 original mile, Numbers matching 1979 VW Super Beetle that was purchased from Van Wyk VW in San Bernardino, California (still has the original dealer licence plate frame and both original california plates) back on Feburary 4, 1979 by an Upland California college professor and remand there its entire life. Due to her age and not being able to drive the car anymore she let her mechanic that had worked on the car for most of its life have it a few years ago. This is the last year the classic beetles were made. Car has just received a brand new top as the original was becoming brittle from age and started to split. The underside is as clean as the rest of the car. The beetle has never had any rust or damage and has all original sheet metal along with most of the original paint. Original unused spare tire and jack never even opened. Has original interior except driver seat cushions, all original glass in excellent condition. Engine compartment has its original components minus replaced filters . This car has its original fuel injection from the factory. This car starts, runs and drives like it was new. This car needs nothing but a new owner. Tires, brakes, shocks, transmission, weatherstripping, interior are in like new condition. Even still retains its original exhaust. Everything thing is working except the clock. You will be very happy with this VW! Fly into town and drive it home any where! Car comes with original owners manual and original dealer purchase paper work as seen in the pictures. This car books at $25,800 in this condition but you can save thousands of that retail.
