BUILT BY A.O.SMITH CORP OF IONIA MICHIGAN GREAT RESTORATION CANDIDATE! THIS ONE HAS ALL SORTS OF PERSONALITY. WILL MAKE SOMEONE AN EZ RESTORATION OR A CLASSIC DAILY CAMPER / CONCESSION TRUCK WITH NOT MUCH WORK! IT'S ALREADY PLUMBED FOR A FRESH WATER TANK & PROPANE TANK UNDERNEATH. ALTHOUGH I'M SURE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN USED IN A LONG TIME & IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE TO GO THROUGH THEM & MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS FRESH & NEW. THE 3I8ci V8" RUNS GOOD. BUT SINCE IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR A LITTLE WHILE, IT WOULD BE WISE TO ARRANGE A FRESH TUNE UP / SERVICE BEFORE ANY LONG ROAD TRIPS. BUT IF YOU'D LIKE TO DRIVE IT HOME, WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU ARRANGE GETTING ANY PRETRIP PREP WORK DONE AT OUR WHOLESALE COST. HOWEVER WHEN WE DROVE IT OVER TO TAKE THE PICTURES, THE ENGINE SOUNDED STRONG, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD, THE BRAKES & STEERING BOTH WORK GOOD & IT GOES DOWN THE ROAD NICELY. OVERALL A VERY NICE CLASSIC & RARE 60'S SURVIVOR. ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE A FEW SMALL DINGS HERE & THERE & THE PAINT HAS IT'S BEST YEARS BEHIND IT, IT IS IN REMARKABLY NICE & STRAIGHT CONDITION CONSIDERING IT WAS MADE THE SAME YEAR WE LANDED ON THE MOON. FRONT END, GRILL, FRONT BUMPER, ETC. ARE ALL OVERALL VERY NICE! STRAIGHT & CLEAN! MOST IMPORTANTLY, FOR SOMEONE WANTING TO RESTORE ONE, IT IS OVERALL VERY STRAIGHT & SOLID! IT IS VERY NICE & SOLID & HAS NO ADVANCED RUST ISSUES AT ALL. SOLID FLOORBOARDS SOLID FENDERS SOLID ROCKERS SOLID QUARTERS SOLID DOORS ETC. IT CAN BE STRAIGHTENED, OR JUST REPLACED. HAS A NICE SET OF STOCK WHEELS & ORIGINAL HUBCAPS. WITH A VERY NICE SET OF WIDE WHITEWALL TIRES THAT HAVE AT LEAST 90-95% TREAD LEFT REMAINING ON ALL 4. LOVE THE LITTLE EXTRA DETAILS. LIKE THE EXTRA LIGHTS UP ON ALL 4 CORNERS OF THE ROOF. INTERIOR: IN OVERALL VERY NICE SHAPE! NICE CLEAN FACTORY GAUGES & STEERING WHEEL. DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR & DOOR PANEL ARE IN OVERALL NICE SHAPE. PANEL COULD USE A LITTLE REFINISHING. BOTH BOTH ARE STRAIGHT & SOLID. PASSENGER'S SIDE LOOKS GOOD AS WELL. VIEW OF THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT PASSENGER FRONT SEAT. EVEN HAS "HARDWOOD" FLOORS. LOOKS SOLID ENOUGH. BUT COULD USE BEING REFINISHED. SOMEONE HAS BUILT A CUSTOM PAIR OR DRAWERS AS SEEN ABOVE THE DRIVER'S SEAT. ENGINE COVER VERY NICE & CLEAN. REAR SIDE VIEW. VIEW FROM THE BACK. UNDER "HOOD". THE 318 HAS A NICE EDELBROCK HIGH RISE INTAKE MANIFOLD & EDELBROCK CARBURETOR TOO. AS WELL AS CHROME VALVE COVERS & CHROME "SUMMIT" AIR CLEANER.
