Vehicle Detail
0 0 1 320 1826 Everyday Valet 15 4 2142 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1992 Mustang 5.0 five-speed Notchback coupe. VIN 1FACP40EONF125716.This is an unmolested, non-modified, all original car with 155K miles. This is a two-owner car. The original owner purchased the car in 1992 and sold it to me in 2012. I have over 75 pages of receipts ranging from oil changes and new tires to new clutches and brakes. I have the original window stickers and key card paperwork. The car was painted in 2008 (I have the receipt) and it looks nice, but if you are going to show this car, you may want to have it professionally buffed.Since purchase, I replaced the brake lines, replaced battery, changed the oil/filter, and installed new quad-shocks. I bought the car with the intention of building a quarter mile bracket racer, but given the stock quality of the car, I feel it is better to sell it to someone who appreciates original cars. This car is registered in Virginia, which mandates a safety and emissions inspections. There are a few minor issues that you may want to fix; the passenger power window plastic gear needs to be replaced, the driver door power lock actuator needs to be replaced, and the tach/speedo sometimes work/sometimes doesn’t work. As you will see in the pictures, there is rust in two areas; front passenger wheel well and small patch near the passenger rear wheel. There is a very small dent in rear quarter panel and the headliner is dirty. I tried to best show these areas in the pictures. The clutch grips well, the brakes are strong, the engine pulls through all the gears, and the original radio sounds just like it did in 1992. The undercarriage is clean and there are no signs of damage. This car is a blast to drive. If you are looking for an all-original notchback I cant see how you can find a better car at this price. If I don’t get my asking price I will keep the car and build a bracket racer. I have tried to address everything in this description and I am happy to answer questions so please email me. If you need to talk with me, send me an email and we can arrange a time to talk.Buyer is responsible for pick-up and shipping. I will only accept a certified bank check.
