Up for auction is a real 1978 Trans Am W72 4 Speed at present time it has a re-done 400 engine that was put in by the former owner and it is extremely fast, don't worry I got the original matching numbers engine from him when I bought it and have that in my shed (Has Vin Number Stamp on Block, also I have PHS docs) It also has new washer and coolant jar, new alternator, New Carb, New Tires, New Rubber Weather stripping, and other new parts. The former owner re-painted and put new decals on it, I have all the documentation pictures from when what it looked like before he painted and also during the process. The paint is driver quality and very presentable keep in mind it is not a 30,000.00 dollar type paint job, there are some small imperfections in the paint but you have be within a foot or so to really see them. I have a couple of thousand dollars worth of receipts for tons of work that was done to the car. Former owner had that and clutch redone. The interior has the following new parts- New Front Seat Covers, New Door Panels, New Door Pulls, New Cup Holders, New Rear Package Tray , New Headliner., New Carpet. New Fisher Chrome Step Panels. Most of the expensive stuff is done. The interior is 8 out of 10 right now, because is needs a radio, has some hairline type cracks in dash and rear sail panels are in rough shape. There underneath is in excellent shape, and has stainless steel exhaust. The auction includes the original engine block and other original engine parts that I have in the shed. Also I have a semi-new front air dam spoiler, that also goes with the car. It is recommended that if you plan on bidding on the car, keep in mind if you want the original engine, you would have to come pick it up.
