This is one of the finest early Japanese motocross bikes you will ever find, and was an unmolested original that has been fully restored with careful attention given down to the smallest details. When I undertake a project my goal is always to match the way the bike would have have come out of the crate as close as possible. As such NOS Suzuki parts were utilized wherever possible; even the side covers are NOS Suzuki, but unfortunately the fenders are reproductions. These bikes were delivered with the very unusual rear tire size of 4.10 x18, and you will notice that after much searching I even located one of those. This RM is truly in concours condition, and is ready to show anywhere or be put into a museum quality collection. It was in perfect running condition when the restoration was started, so I did not rebuild the engine, and it has not had any fluids in it since completed about four years ago. I very seldom sell any bikes I have restored, and most people do not take restorations to the level that I do, so this is a rare chance to obtain a true quality bike.
