1972 Chevelle SS454 Tribute car. There is just 300 miles on this Chevelle since a frame off nut and bolt restoration. This car was found in a barn and had been stored for over 18 years. First step was to completely disassemble the entire car and strip it down to bare metal. The frame was sandblasted and coated in chassis black paint. It was then completely reassembled with all new parts. All brakes, lines and cables were replaced. Disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. The original 12 bolt posi has been stripped and refinished. It currently has 4:10 gearing. The shell was stripped and the undercarriage was coated with Chassis black. The outside and interior on the shell were primed in epoxy and then the inside was coated in black factory sealer. The interior was completely redone with new carpet, headliner, upholstery, door panels, all chrome, pedals, etc. The horseshoe console has been redone with new cables and bushings. The dash bezel is NOS and all gauges have been rebuilt to correct LS6 specs. All wiring and fuse block are new. The 454 has been professional rebuilt and is conservatively iated at 475 HP. All new parts from the carb to the pan. 750 Holley, Edelbrock intake, aluminum heads, 6 quart wide pan, high volume oil pump, MSD ignition, MSD high torque starter, chrome power steering pump, aluminum radiator. Working cowl induction, headers and 2.5” SS exhaust system The 454 is backed up by a professionally rebuilt TH400 tranny with a 3000 stall converter, shift kit and B&M deep sump pan and filter. All new lines, u-joints and flywheel. This is all brought together with a high gloss water born Professional paint finish and clear coat.
