for sale is a cancer-free 1974 ford f250 supercab 4x4 shortbed. this is a ground up preservation. the body on this truck was originally a 2wd. the frame is a 1979 f250 supercab 4x4 longbed that was shortened professionally to accept a shortbed. the frame looks great you can't even tell. all of the factory ford crossmembers and parts were utilized. the engine is a strong running 460 with a new water pump, fuel pump, and rebuilt holley carb. the transmission is an np435 4 spd manual with an np205 married transfer case. the truck has a dana 44 hd (big hub) axle in the front and a dana 60 in the rear. unfortunetly, the front axle is a 4.10 ratio and the rear is a 3.50 ratio but the rear dana 60 with 4.10 gears are cheap and easy to find. upon purchase we can work something out about the axle situation I'm willing to help on that. the truck also has Power disc/drum brakes, and real power steering (not power assist). dual fuel tanks. the interior is in great condition. the back seat is the rear bench style seat. there is one crack in the dash pad. all the lights gauges and accessories work. the truck has factory air conditioning that works great but needs to be charged because I had to evacuate system when I did the engine swap. undercarriage is painted to look factory and protect against the elements. flowmaster exhaust system sounds great. everything on this truck is everything I would ever want on one of these trucks because I originally built it for myself but priorities have changed so I have to sell. this is a rare truck I know because I tried to find one to buy and couldn't find a truck that had been shortened so I built one. call me with any questions 530 592 6560
