This auction is for a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible with a 5.7L LT1 engine and automatic transmission. First of all this car needs some work. It runs and drive and works as it is but needs some things fixed. The obvious thing is the paint, it has peeling and flaking and surface rust. Mostly on the top parts like the trunk and the hood but needs a complete paint job. The next thing is it needs rear tires, and the windshield has a crack. It doesn't obstruct your view but is cracked. The other item is that it makes a noise when taking off from a stop. It sounds like brakes dragging but I have replaced the front hubs, rotors, and pads with the thought that they were the problem but the noise is still there. It runs good and shifts fine but makes this noise through first gear then goes away. It also needs some brake work. The air works great, it has power steering, tilt, cruise, power disk brakes and power windows and door locks. The top is only a couple of years old and is made of the original material and has the glass back window. The window is securely attached which is usually the reason to need to replace the top on these cars.(about $1200.00) It has 190,000 miles on it but the engine was replaced with a rebuilt one at 97,000 miles. Be aware that the car needs all of these things before bidding as I'm trying to make sure you are aware of all the things that need to be done so you can make an informed decision while bidding. Ask all questions before bidding and good luck. This is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Please do not bid unless you intend on purchasing this vehichle. This wastes alot of time and money in fees and waiting for auctions to run and for payment that doesn't get made which translates to 2 weeks to relist. Once funds have cleared the car can be picked up and I will overnight the title to the new owner.
