1982 Honda CR

I purchased this all original CR250 Honda from the original owner on the Michigan peninsula; it was ridden for the 1982 season and then put in storage. I'm selling because I also have a CR480. The bike has a second set of tires from 1983 that are Metzlers. The motor has never been apart, all pivot points on the bike are tight, from Pro-Link shock linkage to wheel bearings to foot pegs, shifter & kick starter. Bike fires up by the third kick. Very crisp. Shifts flawlessly, clutch perfect. As far as new parts: new air filter; rear shock required new seal and recharge of nitrogen; new front fork seals; new DG silencer. Again this is a true survivor, the bike needs nothing to go vintage racing. Finding one of these bikes and restoring it is very costly - my reserve is reasonable at $2,000.
