1928 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE COUPE This car was purchased from the original owner around 1956 and has been stored inside since then. According to the number plates this is a 1928 which would make it a 341 A. It was sold to us as a 1929. I believe that the original buyer got it in 1928 and liked the 1929 341 B, and decided to make this into a 341 B. There is no visor which is the most obvious difference. This car has wire wheels all around. It has running lights on front fenders which was original for 1929. It also has running lights on cowl as part of molding that goes from center of hood down to the splash pan which are original for 1928. There are 2 extra blocks, as well as the one in the car which doesn't run. There are extra parts for engines, although I'm not sure if everything is there to make three running engines. The odometer shows 26k and some change. I have no idea what actual mileage may be. That could be correct.The interior is all original although deteriorated of course. Most of the wood will need repair or replacement. As far as I know everything is here to put a car together.This is a very unusual and rare car that could be a show piece from another era. It was not my desire to change things in the middle. Due to unforseen circumstances, I was not able to get pictures of all the spare parts that will go with the car in a timely manner. My apologies! The car is fairly complete as a rolling chassis, minus some engine parts and trim pieces. I believe we have all of those things in the boxes plus duplicates of most. There are many boxes of engine parts, brackets, fasteners, etc. There is a spare transmission, radiator, and an extra fuel tank. there is another set of high compression heads and cylinders. Extra crankshaft, camshaft, rods, pistons and various engine components. There are two ring and pinion sets in boxes that look new. There are at least two carburetors and at least four starters. The original radio is there along with the antennae that goes between the headliner(which we have) and the convertible top. The original wood trim for doors is there along with original sconces and handles and extras. The original interior and rumble seat is intact, but rough. The top was taken off to expose wood for repair.The back curtain and rear window are the only things I have't located that I know we have. We would have saved the rear curtain for pattern, so it is probably stashed away somewhere safe. No worries, I will find them!
