Vehicle Detail
Low Reserve! This vehicle was purchased in 1984 with 96K miles. It was used as a daily driver by my son during his high school and college years. It has been setting in my garage since 1991 and now has 128794 miles. It was repowered prior to my owning it with a 1965 170 CI six cylinder that starts easily and runs strong. Fluids were drained prior to starting the car. It has a new fuel tank, fuel hoses, water pump and rebuilt carburetor. The car currently needs a new radiator (pin hole on top), exhaust manifold w/choke tube and brake work in order to be driven. The brake wheel cylinders do not appear to be leaking. Will most likely need a new master cylinder and the brake pads checked. I did not make the above repairs for two reasons: 1. I don't have time to work on the car and 2. The next owner may be interested in a high performance radiator, high performance exhaust and disk brakes. The floor pans, shock towers and battery box were previously replaced/repaired by a local body shop in 1985. NOTE: The repairs were not to show standards. There is rust on the driver side door, driver side rear quarter panel, trunk lid and driver side body frame. The paint has chips and is faded in some areas. (see pictures). The chrome is in very good condition. The right rear window is not on its track and does not roll up/down. It should be easy to fix. The driver side exterior door handle does not work. It should be easy to repair/replace when the rust on the door is addressed by the new owner. Two (2) hub caps are missing. The power top works, the top is in good condition and the rear window glass is clear. The trim on the top has come off and will need to be re-glued. The Vin Number is - 8T03T103599. The original color was Meadow Lark yellow. However, the car was repainted red by a previous owner. The driver side door was also replaced by a previous owner. I have attempted to accurately describe the condition of this vehicle. With a little work this car will make someone a very nice classic daily driver. An initial $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end, balance to be paid within 7 days of auction end. Payment by cash or PayPal is preferred. Any certified checks will have to fully clear all banks prior to new owner taking possession. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an inspection of the car prior to bidding.
