Vehicle Detail

For Sale: Flat black 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. The car has 203,000 miles on the chassis with a recently swapped engine, which due to California's tight smog rules, cannot be registered in the state. The engine is legal in all 49 other states though. The engine is a D16a8 DOCH (Euro ZC with 40 hp more than the stock d15b2 engine), which had 40,000 miles on it when it was installed in June 2012. The car has been changed from a carburetor intake to electronic controlled fuel injection. I've put about 10,000 miles on the car since then. The car interior could use some work. But replacing the carpet and seats is simple and inexpensive. And the car itself runs GREAT with the following upgrades:D16A8 Engine with the PM7 ECUTokico Illumina 5 point adjustable shocks Neuspeed Sport springs front swaybarEnergy Suspension bushings master kit installedSkunk2 short throw shifterAEM short ram intake = more hpMegan Racing 4-2-1 exhaust header = more hp (I still have the stock header, and will include it)High flow catalytic converter = more hpStraight pipe replacement for the catalytic converter (Adds more hp. It's not currently installed. But I'll include it)Tsudo N1 catback exhaust = more hp (very robust sounding)Brand New Battery1991 CRX Si wheelsFront disc brakes (lots of pad left)New brake shoes in the rearNew brake power boosterI bought the car a year and a half ago as a project car. The car is flat out quick and agile. It's a blast to drive. And it still averages around 30-33 mpg. I was building the car up to add a supercharger. But I have a new baby now and the state of CA (unlike the rest of the country) won't let me register the car with the D16A8 engine, so it's got to go :(. Shipping cost will depend on your location. Click on the shipping quote link at the top of the page for an estimate. The closer to CA, the less it will cost. Payment will be accepted via Bank Transfer or PayPal. I'll ship the car as soon as the payment clears. If you have any questions, or would like more pics, feel free to send me a message
