2005 Volkswagen GTI 2-doors, 1.8L Turbo engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 78,900 miles, mostly highway. Power glass sunroof, tinted windows. Rear window tint has some scratches. 17” Alloy wheels have some scratches, 2 missing center pegs. Tires are less than 1 year old and include local, transferable tire hazard insurance (Washington DC-area only). Brand new radio with iPod hookup and CD player!!! There is a differential problem with the transmission, but otherwise in good condition. Car can be driven short distance, but transmission problem (dealership estimated cost to fix - $1,900) should be addressed immediately. Recently had the clutch replaced, so transmission may be repaired without replacing it. If buyer will be servicing locally, I may be able to tow it to a local service station (only within a certain radius of the 22204 zip code). Otherwise all shipping must be paid for by the winning bidder. I am the second owner of this car - I love it, very fun to drive! Starting a family and need a bigger car, so I must sell instead of paying for repair.
