1952 Chevrolet BelAir 2 Door Deluxe Hard Top Mild Mod. The first Generation BelAir Coupe was designed as a convertible with a non removable top, this revolutionary styling would influence GM designs from Chevrolet to Cadillac for decades. We found this good example of the BelAir Hard Top in a private collection here in Texas having been garaged & driven regularly for most of its life, it hasn't seen the road since 2008. We brought it back to the shop, installed a new battery & it started right up! It drives well with a smooth & solid shifting three on the tree manual transmission & a smooth & quiet 216 CID 6 CYL engine having been converted to a 12 VDC system. The exterior is in good condition with all trim present having been re-sprayed a Glossy Black at some point in the past with some mild Mods( bumpers & grill blacked out, windshield visor, wide whitewalls on red steelies, ect...) The interior is in good condition having had some restoration performed at some point in the past with all trim & dash components present even the windup dash clock still works!(and look at that steering wheel spinner!) This vehicle will be seen on an upcoming episode of the hit show Fast N Loud & the winning bidder will have the option of taking delivery here on the show! This is good candidate for a Museum quality restoration, Hot Rod Project, Promotional or Advertising use that can be driven & enjoyed just the way it is!
