1965 Mustang Hard Top Automatic 200 ci. 6 Cyl. A/C. We found this excellent example of the first generation Mustang in a private collection here in Texas. Stored in a garage most of its life & driven regularly, it hasn’t seen the road since 2008. Lee Iacoccas answer to the influx of European automobiles that were starting to make their way to our shores, this original Pony Car is equipped with the 200 ci 6 cyl. Thriftpower motor developing 120 HP @ 4400 RPM & 190 ft.lbs. of torque @ 2400 RPM. This Beautiful ’65 Mustang combines the best of both worlds with the ability to cruise smoothly in high octane style and the benefit of a fuel efficient 6 cyl power plant (relief for the pain at the pump!) The interior is in excellent condition with Factory A/C, great carpeting, seats, dash, headliner, door panels & all trim present(even the original radio is present with a AM/FM CD XM satellite ready Pioneer Super Tuner Stereo hidden in the glove box!). The exterior is in great condition also with all trim, bumpers, grills & hubcaps present. The paint shows well with a few chips having been re-sprayed at some point in the past. We put some fresh fuel & a battery in it and fired it up. It runs & drives well with smooth shifting & and a solid ride that just begs to be cruised down Greenville Ave!
