Very nice 1969 mustang convertible. California built car with marti report. This 69 mustang has very solid sheetmetal throughout. We would like this car sold this week so the best reasonable offer will take it home. Looks like original quarters, fenders, hood,doors etc...The doors shut nice and smooth like they should. The inside of the trunk is original and looks almost new. We have found no rust in the shock towers or torque boxes.Fenders and the quarter panels also look good.Hard to find a convertible in this rust free condition. The interior is in great shape with a small tear in the rear bottom seat,passenger side.Previous owner was starting to make this a convertible shelby clone.We all know what the 1969 convertible shelbys are selling for these days.We were going to finish the shelby conversion but don't have the time.Has the 1969 mach 1 front seats and the side scoops.Original scoops in the trunk.We might have used mach 1 rear seat covers in decent shape to match the mach 1 seats. The engine is a 302 with a 4bbl holley and edelbrock intake.The engine code is C801 6015A.There is a pad on the block right below the passenger side head that has a S K stamped on it.Has long tube headers with dual exhaust.Sounds good.The engine runs nice and smooth with lots of power and no known problems.This car has been driven on the weekends and not just sitting in the garage.We think the car could be driven anywhere with no worries.Looks to have had some recent engine work.It runs like there is a nice cam.There are chrome valve covers and oil pan. The transmission shifts strong and does not slip or leak. Has an upgraded sway bar,tie rods and bushings. The paint is in decent shape and is about 7 to 10 years old.The last owner wasn't sure about when it was painted but tells us its the second paint job on the car since new.There is a few small scratches and a couple chips that can be color matched and fixed easily. The top is in good no leaking condition with minor wear on each side down low by the quarter windows.We were told this is normal wear.The weatherstripping all looks good.Front and rear bumpers are nice. Tires are Dunlop GT and in excellent condition.Rims are also in great shape.All lights and guages seem to work fine.There is no stereo but all speaker wires look to be all in there.There are several speakers throughout. This car has been garaged most of its life and you can tell. We urge all buyers to come and take a look and drive this car. The car is currently registered in california into 2014.
