These cars have a very low reserve so bid away. You are bidding on a matching pair of 1958 and 1961 Triumph TR3s. Im am getting to old to start a project so Im having to let them go. When I was 21 and single I purchased a TR3. It was a great car and I had so much fun with it but traded it for a car with back seats for my friends and I always regretted that. I always thought I should have kept that car. The last few years I decided when I retire that I would find a TR3 to restore. Well 2 years ago I purchased 2 of them with the thought that I would restore one and use the other one for parts or maybe restore both. About 7 years ago I developed some health issues. I had to go through a few years of treatment and thought I was getting better but the last year or so have been hard. The cars have sat in my garage and I have only looked at them. I have come to the realization that I will never get to restore them and they should be back on the road and in the hands of someone that will love them. These cars have lots of great potential. The 1958 is the most compleat and is the most desired however the rear wheels are locked up. It does have two new tires. It will need a full restoration but most everything is there. The 1961 has lots of great parts including the spindle mount rims and the motor and transmission are out of the car. I dont know much history about these cars other than the 1961 was purchased in Minneapolis. The last time these cars were licensed was 1970 and have sat in a garage until I rescued them in 2011. Since I have owned them they have sat in a dry warehouse and gathered dust. I have lots of pics so I hope that helps. If you win these cars you will be responsable for loading and transportation.
