Vehicle Detail
2011 70th Anniversary Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 - LOADED Bought this Jeep Grand Cherokee brand new in June of 2011, and am the only owner/ driver this rig has ever had. Not a smoker, and we do not have any pets. This V8 Jeep gets parked indoors both day and night, and has been washed and detailed with extreme regularity. It has never been in any type of fender bender, has 100% original paint, and was serviced regularly and exclusively by the local Jeep Dealership. All records are on file. Why are we selling this well loved Jeep? We ordered a 2014 Jeep Cherokee SRT, which will be delivered at the end of this month. The factory warranty, bumper-to-bumper, is good for another 16,000 miles, or 15 months, whichever comes first. (36,000 miles or 3 years.) Powertrain Warranty is good for 10yrs and 100,000 miles! Some Options include: (The rest are listed on the dealer sticker, which is photographed and included in the photos here.) If not easy to read, I can send them BIG! Just shoot me an email. Panoramic Sliding Moon RoofNavigation / Bluetooth/ HDD Audio System - which is awesome.Leather Interior - One year only perforated black with chestnut piping.Heated, Power Driver and Passenger Seats Black Lacewood dash and door panels (and now Steering Wheel.)20" Special Edition Wheels.110V ElectricUSB Audio Back-up CameraKeyless entryKeyless start/stopTow Package/ Full Size Spare Automatic headlightsCruise control/ radio controls on steering wheelA few things bothered me about the vehicle, as I'm about as OCD a human can be. The following upgrades/ modifications were made, and all up, there was about $3,500 spent: Installed a Magna-Flow cat-back exhaust system. (Jeep was silent, like a Prius, after $1,500 installed, it now sounds like a V8 Jeep should, but not obnoxious.) Plus, the polished stainless tips look fantastic, and stick out about an inch further than the small stock units. Installed Eibach rear coil springs. $500 installed. (Jeep sqatted down when accelerating, rear springs were soft. Also, the rear end was nearly 3" higher than the front, giving it a sting-bug look. The new springs fixed the squat problem, and lowered the rear 1.5", so it sits PERFECT. SEE LAST PHOTO TO SEE HOW THESE LOOK STOCK, HIGH IN THE REAR! Installed a set of B-WOODY Sway Bar Links, which reduce body roll and improve road feel. $300 well spent. Installed a K&N Cold Air Intake. Increased throttle response and an extra 2MPG never hurt anyone. Sounds better too. $350 installed. Tinted the driver and passenger windows to match the rest of the V8 SUV.Installed an Overland Steering wheel, which is awesome, and has the matching grey/ black grain on the top of the extra FAT grip. Awesome feel and look. $500 installed. Installed WeatherTech all-weather floor mats throughout the vehicle and cargo area. $350 well spent, and the Jeep has never had a wet foot touch the carpets.Installed SRT Jeep pedals, $100 well spent. Purchased, but never installed: New leather seat base for the special edition 70th Anniversary seats. (Just in case it ever looked warn, I wanted a spare.) Seats have worn nicely, and hardly at all, so if they do, you have a spare.Removed anything that would catch and hold polish and wax. All badges, except the 70th Anniversary badge, are gone. The ugly chrome door protectors, which were done away with completely for 2014, are history. (See last photo to see the way it looked stock, with the extra chrome door guards.) I have the spongy factory rear coil springs (and the Eibach replacement front springs, should you want to further improve the performance.) Have the original sway bar links. Have the original floor mats, which are special to the 70th anniversary Cherokee. Have the original Steering Wheel. Also have the original intake. All original gear goes with the Jeep. This vehicle drives perfectly, as new. (After all, it has under 20K miles.) Tires have about 7-8/32nds remaining. Has never been curbed, never rubbed a curb, and has zero curb rash on any of the wheels. We have 2 kids, who ride in my wife's car more. Just in case, I installed seat protectors on the back of the seats to ensure no injury by munchkin feet. They are still on, but unless you need them, I'm putting them in the next Jeep. I'm not an off-roader, and this vehicle has never experienced any off-road recreational use. A quick look underneath will reveal a zero-injury Jeep belly. Imperfections: There are a few small chips in the front, and the windshield has a few microscopic chips, only visible driving west at sunset, or east at sunrise. Impossible to photograph, we tried. The "Brilliant Black Metallic," is great at hiding imperfections. No scratches, swirl marks, etc. Interior has no issues that I could find. Smells good, etc. We live 2.5 miles from our warehouse, and will continue to drive, wash, polish, and wax this vehicle until it's sold. (Our business is car care, and this vehicle has a swirl-free, excellent finish.) Size us up if you like: AdamsPolishes.com My wife, and everyone else in my world, think I'm looney for selling this black Cherokee to buy another black Cherokee, especially one that costs $40K more. Like I mentioned, it's a sickness, and I love the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's an awesome vehicle. If you are considering a V8 Grand Cherokee, compare options and condition of this Jeep to those on others available. Consider the Autocheck score of 93 vs. the others available. And the miles, the others available with similar options have 28K to 35K miles. The bumper to bumper warranty expires at 36k, so ANYTHING you need perfect can be during the next 16K miles. This Jeep has that going for it, which is nice. If you need financing, you can through our local Jeep dealership, Pollard Jeep of Boulder, Colorado. (They will be the official 'seller' of this vehicle, and can also transport the vehicle anywhere easily.) Email me, and I will introduce you, or you can call the dealership and ask for Joe Scandaliato. (877) 356-0988 Thanks for your interest, and come see and drive this vehicle without obligation!
