1960 VW Bug / One of a kind Custom!! Available here is quite possibly the finest example of a custom Beetle. It is the true meaning of "One of a kind". Hundreds of man hours have been invested to create the rolling art you see here. Many subtle changes to the body and hand fabricated, one off pieces have been created for this car. Car has won the Best Engineered award and Promotors Choice at the Phoenix Bug O Rama and has been published in Hot VWs magazine in the show coverage. Ready for more shows and awards I have detailed the specifics below: Body / Pan:Rust free AZ body and pan completely media blasted, Front windshield opening dropped 1 1/2" (Not chopped), One off hidden door hinges with body seam removed, Drip rails have been pinched and reduced for a cleaner look, Doors and trunk handle have been shaved, One off 7 piece Billet moulding set / All hand formed, One off steel flush and fit running boards, Headlights dropped 1/2" in front fenders w/ signals, horn grills and hidden trim ring mounts, Front and rear bumpers reshaped and dropped 1 1/2" in fenders w/ custom frenched driving light in front bumper, Tail lights dropped 2" on rear fenders, Hand reformed bodyline in rear hood to match lowered pope nose, One off custom rear hood hinge w/ 1" stand off w/ pin on removal, Fenders, running boards flush fit with no need for fender gaskets, Rear fender well raised 1' to allow a 165 rear tire, Rear floor raised, rear panels bead rolled and finished w/ panel for access to trans, cables, bags, One off custom dash w/ frenched engine turned panel. Classic quad gauges, Stretched column w/ custom bell end to fit Limeworks steering wheel and custom turnsignal switch, One off custom center console to cover shifter and e brake w/ engine turned panel that houses air switches and gauges, 12 volt, 18 fuse, 21 circuit fuse panel (EZ wiring), 37 Ford 3rd brakelight in custom Billet mount. Pan with 4" rise to engine and trans, custom rear ladder bars and custom upper shock mounts on bags (can be set up with coil overs as well) shifter and ebrake raised as well, 4 1/2" narrowed beam / adjusters / air shocks w/ relocated lower mounts, 2 1/2 drop spindles, 1" head layback reinforced and done right, pan completely treated in Por 15 or painted in black urethane or wrinkle finish, 15" powder coated steelies with sandrail caps and acorn lugs. Engine and Trans:2007cc, 78mm EMS stroker crank, VW modified rods, K8F5 Pauter cam, Empi straight gears, 90.5 Piston/Cyl., stock heads ported and polished HD springs w/ titanium retainers 8:2 to 1, Dellorto 36 carbs, Bully Pulley belt system, 3qt deep sump, 009 dist., 90 amp alt., PSP linkage, one off custom side exhaust all hidden in fender, fresh freeway flier transaxle, all new tin much handformed to fit engine raise.This is truly a one of a kind car and ready to be driven, shown and enjoyed.
