Vehicle Detail
I never thought I would be that guy selling his beloved car because a baby's on the way, but you never know what the future holds and family comes first. This Challenger has a bit of a unique history. I bought it off Ebay July 2011. The car was BRAND NEW, 400 miles on it, and never titled. It was located at a small dealership in Arizona and it never sold in 2009, then the 2010's came in and it never sold, and finally the 2011's so they listed it on Ebay. It sat on a dealer showroom floor the entire time. The car was never titled and the warranty was never initiated by Chrysler until I purchased it, so it has the remainder of the ORIGINAL FACTORY WARRANTY until the end of 2014 or 36k miles. This was not an add on warranty, this is the original manufacturers warranty. Please feel free to CARFAX it and call your local Dodge dealer to verify (just give them the VIN). This car is flawless!!!!! Garage kept every single night since I purchased except for 2 nights when I went out of town to visit family for a weekend. It has only seen rain 3 times. This car is my toy/fun car and usually only drive it 500-700 miles per month. If you're looking for a Challenger in excellent condition, adult driven, with a few tasteful modifications that has a bumper to bumper factory warranty so you have complete peace of mind then this is definitely the Challenger you're looking for. It kills me to sell her because she is soooooo much fun to drive. I got plenty of looks before I added the modifications, but now heads are ALWAYS turned and I always am complimented on it while I am out. She handles very well too, accelerates smoothly, and always has extra power when you need it. If you're worried at all about it being an automatic DONT BE! I was originally only looking for manuals, but I use the autostick on this car just like a manual when I want a little more control and you barely notice the difference other than not having to push in a clutch. The car is fully loaded. Navigation, DVD, XM, Ipod Connect in console, Kicker Subwoofer, leather interior and every option I am aware of available on an SRT8. I'm trying to be as thorough and upfront as possible, but if you see anything I've missed or need clarification on please feel free to message me. Modifications: If I were looking at a car that already had aftermarket parts and custom work done I would automatically be cautious. Let me assure you that there isn't a single thing done to this car that can't be reversed. I intentionally made sure that this car could always easily be returned back to stock. No wires have been cut, nothing has been welded or permanently modified...everything is bolt on, completely reversible, and was professionally installed. I didn't just throw stuff on the car either, everything I added I made a very conscious choice and did a lot of research before purchasing. Wheels & Tires (they only have 2500 miles on them) Vertini Magic (Concave Wheels) Front 22x9 Rear 22x10.5 Pirelli Scorpion P-Zero A Front 265/35/ZR22 Rear 295/30/ZR22 These wheels are one-off wheels only made for my car (I have the only set ever made for a Challenger). Vertini makes these wheels in other color combinations (solid black/black and silver), but they do not make an all silver version for the Challenger. I chose these because they have a nice Concave wide rear wheel and I picked the all silver with chrome lip because I think you see too many cars that do the black on black combo with the wheels. Hood SpeedLogix (TruFiber) Ram Air Hood (fiberglass) - Painted by local Dodge dealership and matches perfectly! There are a variety of hoods out there for the Challenger, but to me, the Speedlogix hood is the best looking. The aluminum pegs in the scoop can be removed. If you've seen the color black the Challengers are painted in person they have a metallic flake, so I was worried it wouldn't be able to be matched well, but it is matched perfectly. Exhaust B&B (Billy Boat) 3" Full Catback Exhaust I REALLY researched the living day lights out of this one. I was sooooo worried I would get something too loud, not loud enough, or that had a drone while driving and be stuck with a $1300 exhaust. I listened to videos of every exhaust available for the Challenger. Ultimately I chose B&B, also known as Billy Boat. I had actually never heard of this company, but they're very popular on Corvettes and other high-end sports cars. B&B had the perfect sound for what I wanted. It's loud enough, but not Cherry-Bomb loud. It has a nice sound to it when you start it up and you really control the volume of it by how aggressive you are on the gas. If you take off easy like a normal drive it's just a little louder than stock, but of course if you slam your foot to the floor you'll turn some heads. It's a perfect ballace. It's also fully polished all the way back and the ONLY exhaust that is a true 3" all the way through. Most say 3", but drop to 2-3/4 or 2-1/2 in the exhaust chamber. Engine AirAid Cool Air Intake Not much to say here. Easy and absolutely necessary modification, instantly noticed a difference in power and throttle response. Suspension Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs I researched this very thoroughly. I wanted to the car to sit just slightly above the tires with little gap. The car is lowered about 1-1/4" all the way around. The suspension is just slightly firmer than stock, but not bumpy or hoppy at all. The car corners noticeably better. I looked into coilovers for the car and almost got them, but it was such an expense just to drop the car a little over an inch and you're really only paying all that money for front coilovers as the all of the rears for any coilovers made for the Challengers are a separate spring and shock. Exterior Sequential Turn Signals - No wires cut or bulbs replaced. Just a simple replacement wiring harness. No warranties voided and have factory harness. Blacked out front and rear side markers - Just covered stock markers with black plasti-dip (can be pealed off easily) Windows Tinted 20% all the way around Video Pricing I have listed below KBB values which do not take into consideration the existing warranty. The car is in EXCELLENT condition with the private party value at about $33k stock. All of the aftermarket parts cost about $7000 not including installation. I do not expect to get all of the money back from the costs of the aftermarket parts, which is why I priced a few thousand below what I have in it. All original factory parts will go with the car which include the stock wheels, exhaust, hood, springs, etc. I have a standing offer from a dealer for $30,000 trade and that's without any of the extras...completely stock. I LOVE this car and am not desperate, so please do not waste time with low-ball offers. If I don't sell it during this auction I will just remove all the aftermarket parts, sell them separately, and trade it in for a Prius...just kidding, not a Prius, probably a truck. Gotcha! I will be adding more pictures of the car and interior I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime and cancel any bids. The vehicle is for sale locally and also may be traded in at anytime. If you're a serious buyer contact me to let me know.
