Vehicle Detail
I'm listing my 85' Grand Wagoneer. Here's the no BS run-down. I bought it Sep to put in a 4BT, however I am moving for work unexpectedly. The engine was described to me as rebuilt ~10k ago. The engine is tight and used almost no oil in the last 6 months and 4k miles. Plugs, cap, rotor, wires and distrubutor look near new. I drove it fairly regular and commuted with it for several weeks. It has a brand new edelbrock carb that I did my best to tune. I know it could be better. It cranks a bit to start but runs well once it’s warmed up and on the road. The 727 trans and 4X4 work well including the low range. Also it has the manual locking hubs. The tires have great tread life and are slightly oversized. I think the pics will attest to the overall condition of the Jeep, but I'll describe it any way. The paint is in fairly good order with some minor rust near the driver’s rear well. The fake wood grain is faded on the rear and it is missing some of the trim. The interior is in better than average shape for its age. The worst part is the center arm rest where the back is torn. Most of the leather is in pretty good shape and the dash looks good too. All the windows go up and down (some a bit slow not the drivers) and the rear defrost works too. I put in new window felts to keep out the rain water and that contributes to the "slow" a bit. The original radio still works but it needs new speakers. Power seats, Power mirrors, Delay wipers all work. I have added a mechanical temp guage and oil pressure gage. The roof interior is in great shape and the lights work. Has the original roof rack too. All in all it’s a decent ride I hate to see go. As a note the miles are approximate it has had the speedometer replaced w/ a salvage unit. I also have a box of extra parts I scavenged from the local salvage yard and a service manual. If you are looking for delivery options: I will be heading down I5 to southern CA from mid OR. We can work out a delivery cost based on your location and my fuel/ trailer rental.
