Vehicle Detail
* Past History Leading Up To This Moment * A very rare find that many guys tried to purchase over the years from the owner. The Camaro was located in Long Beach, Calif. sitting most of the time in the driveway. The owner had purchased it many years ago from his brother & never had any thought on selling it, no matter what the offer was. He had to apply decals in the windows that said "NOT FOR SALE", just to keep the notes on the windshield & guys knocking on his door away. Until recently, the owner decided to give his friends a chance to buy it before it would be advertised. Never been advertise in public or seen anywhere else for sale. I am proud to present to you this 1967 Camaro True Rally Sport Convertible at No Reserve . . . This is an desirable & ultra sought after California 1967 Chevy Camaro Factory RS True Convertible. Factory Options Include: Rally Sport Package Original V8 (3L Cowl Tag) Bolero Red with Red Deluxe Interior Air Conditioning Console Power Top All Tinted Glass Rear Antenna Rear Speaker Tilt Steering Wheel Walnut Steering Wheel Interior Decor Group Deluxe Seat Belts Large Rear Bumper Guards Feature Upgrades The Had Owner Added: GM Crate 383 Stroker Roller Cam Turbo 350 Automatic Edelbrock 650 CFM Pro Comp Heads Weiand Performance intake Full length Headers Mallory Electronic Ignition Four Wheel Disc Brakes All Around Ford 9Inch Posi Rear End 2.75 Ratio Dual Flowmaster Exhaust Cutoff Electronic Cooling Fan Multileaf Springs Front & Rear Slight lower Coils 15' American Racing Torque Thrust 195/60R15 in the Front & 235/60R15 in the Rear ________________ This Camaro was built to be driven. Cruises on the freeway & sounds really healthy. The GM 383 Stroker is a strong high reviving engine. Stop Well with 4 way Disc Brakes, shifts fine into all gears. A lot of time has been put under the hood. The owner decided not to add the A/C back to the car & is long gone. The brother of the owner added the manual foot pedals but thats the furthest the idea got to. A California RS Convertible that has spent it's entire life in the Los Angeles area. Never seen harsh weather or sat in a dirt field. Factory undercarriage including original & solid floors / frame structure & inner wells. I was just underneath the car, rockers - front and rear floors are solid. Inner doors & door jams are in great shape. Trunk pan is clean as well as the trunk lip & taillight panel. The small amount of rust that I can see is on the driver side rear quarter panel. Common spot but most important the inner wheel well is clean. Has a couple of minor dents on the body. Owner mention the Trunk lid, passenger fender & front header was replaced before his time. The front structure was never in a major accident. The Hideways were working but the passenger side just stop working recently. Could be a minor fix but most important all the wiring is in place. The Convertible top works just fine, up & down with out a problem. Has always been a Red Camaro & looks to have been repainted only once. Some of the rally sport trim is missing. The brother of the owner added the manual foot pedals but thats the furthest the idea got to. Old paint, old trim & has been driven with miles on the motor. A excellent restoration for someone or can be driven as a driver in this shape. I believe it will grab more attention with a black fender then a high dollar paint job at any show. The interior looks to be original. Rare factory Red Deluxe interior including the tilt Walnut steering wheel. Interior is in pretty good shape for it's age. I do have the stock am radio in the trunk but missing the visors. Overall, It's getting nearly impossible to find a 67' RS Convertible with desirable options in this sort of shape. Especially, at no reserve. Im running my auction without a reserve to give everyone a fair chance to own it. A lot of guys add a reserve and most of the time it never gets met. It's like playing "guess my number". ____________________ Conclusion & Terms _________________________ I have set my auction at 3 Days With No Reserve, so please only serious bidding.
