This is an opportunity to get your hands on a 1 owner 62 Ford F-100 Unibody truck only 77K miles, a very hard to find truck. I know that most of you looking at this auction know what the Unibody was and that it was only built from 61-63, for those that don't know it incorporated the bed into the back of the cab so it was more car like. These were considered the gentleman's truck since they had a cleaner look to the body and weren't meant for the guy that hauled heavy items regularly. This truck has 95% of it's original sheet metal, only the tailgate was stole in the 80's and was replaced by original owner with a hand built as shown in pictures.. Everything under neath the truck is in very good shape.The bed inside very good shape.Bed quarter panels very good shape.Cab and doors very good shape nothing butchered as showin in pictures.Hood and front fenders are in very good shape as well ..Inner fenders very good shape too..All cab and body mounts in good shape no rust..Floor pans and tunnel cover NO Rust ..ALL trim around the windows are in good shape..Grill and light bezels NO Dents and would polish out NICELY!! Bumpers both are chrome would polish out OK for daily driver but would need re-chromed for show NO DENTS..Engine starts easy and runs EXCELLENT ..Has the unique sound of the 292..Transmission shifts excellent NO NOISES in Drivetrain..the clutch releases at the very top but still pulls ok..The tires are 30 PLUS Years old and hold air ok but are air rotted ..I bought this truck a few months ago with the intention to restore it but I presently have a situation that I have to sell it..My loss is your gain!! I bought it from a gentleman 84 yrs old who bought the truck NEW ..It started its life as a 6 cylinder truck in 1963 he had a Ford dealer to install a 292 Y block.which is what is in the truck now..Engine starts easy, sounds very nice,NO Smoke, NO Noise..It has the original switch and key plus engine warmer as was popular in the 60's..This truck has set in storage 30 plus years and started occassionally to warm up..All glass is good except windshield which is cracked on the bottom right side..BB gun etc who knows??Now for the bad clutch and tires need replaced it will pull to load on a trailer etc..I have tried to represent everything as truthful as possible Please call or email me if you have any queations concering this ad ..Payment will be expected within 7 days Cash in hand is preferred..Will accept Pay Pal but you will be expected to pay 2.9 % pay pal fee above cost of high bid..Clear title in hand.
