Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a friends all steel recreation of a 1933 Ford "Australian Ute". These were used originally so the family could "drive to church on Sunday and haul pigs to market on Monday". The result was a 1933 Ford Australian "Ute" (short for "Utility" vehicle). These tough little Fords were a favorite in the outback and farmers drove them until they died, after many years of service. In the 1950s and 60s the few remaining Utes also became a favorite of hot rodders as they made the perfect "surf wagon". This Ute was created to be as close to an original all steel one as possible after countless hours of research, diagrams, blueprints, and discussions with original owners. The attached photos should show full details. It has full rear tonneau cover for the box. The chassis is an original 1934 Ford frame, has a 59AB Ford flathead motor with twin carbs, connected to a 3 speed 1939 Ford transmission. Has a 4" front dropped axle, 1940 Ford rearend, and 1940 Ford brakes front and rear. Custom "DuVal" style "V" shaped windshield, banjo steering wheel, all new custom interior with new black carpet, read and black seats and door panels, black tonneau and flat black paint. Comes equipped with wide white wall tires on rare accessory 14" General Gombo wheels and an original 1933 grill shell to complete the look. Car comes with a clear New Hampshire title. This car will draw a crowd at any automotive event you attend, whether it's local cruise night or a national gathering. It certainly will be the only one like it. For further information you can contact Paul, the owner/builder on his cell at 603-781-6476. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
