1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe Up for auction is this nice 64' 1/2 Mustang Coupe with 75,125 mile on it. All of the unique features of the first run 64' mustangs are present including the 64 1/2 hood and low mounted horns. Also, this car was built on July 21st, 1964 and was purchased on July 27th. Overall this car is in good condition and comes in a great color combo. Options includes A/C, full length center console, radio and "knock off" hubs. This car also includes some cool documentation and ownership history. Here are some specs: VIN: 5F07U207859. Built in Houston, sold in Austin and lived all it's life in Texas.Engine: 200 cu in. straight 6 that runs great, starts easy and idles smooth. The paint on the air cleaner and valve cover is in pretty good shape. Transmission: C4. 3-speed Automatic. It shifts smoothly and operates perfectly in all gear.Paint: Driver quality. The hood and front fenders look very sharp but the roof and trunk lid are getting a little dull/faded. Also, there are several touch ups/rock chips throughout the car.Interior: The interior is very clean and could be made perfect without much effort. The steering wheel needs touched up and one of the visor has a seam coming apart. The carpet is faded but would make another season or two. Engine Compartment: Very clean throughout. All the wiring/hoses/clamps seem to be very complete and appears very original.A/C: All the components work as they should. It seems to blow cool but might blow colder if it were charged. Chrome: Most of the Chrome is in good shape. A few pieces have some small dents/pitting but very nice overall.Underside: Normal driver quality. Floors are solid and original.Glass: Good shape overall. Most of the glass is original. It's not hazy or scratched. Trunk: very clean. Including a spare tire AND the original tool kit (with original car jack and crank) Sheet metal: Panels line up well. The door need to be adjusted because I recently installed new weatherstripping. Not a big deal, they are just a little tight right now because they haven't been adjusted yet. Documentation: Along with the car will come the original owners manual. Inside the owners manual, you'll get the original ownership card (filled out by the original owner), original dealership sign off (signed by dealership with date of purchase) and some documentation on maintenance performed, previous title registration, ect.
