Selling for a friends Widow. Don't know a lot but will try to answer any questions My Buddy searched for a good scout (condition/price) for about two years after selling his very off road oriented 66 Bronco. His intention was to make a mild off road capable daily winter driver/Summer play truck. We found this on in Bend Oregon (no salt) and was pretty much stock. After it's purchase in December 2011 we flew out and drove it home to PA the first week of March 2012.
