Up for grabs is my 1969 X-55 super sport camaro project. This car was originaly cortez silver with black standard interior I have the car listed locally and do reserve the right to end the auction at any given time. If you like the car and want to make a buy it now offer feel free. here are some details. I have a big money project car sitting here and I have lost all interest in it. so its now available for someone who will put it together to take over. I will go over all the details i can to the best of my knowlege for you. BODY: The shell has new: full main floors, full trunk floor, both outter wheel houses and one inner, trunk drop offs, tail panel, back window filler panel, full quarter panels, roof skin, wiper cowl and upper dash pan. the rockers and inner structure along with frame rails are all thats not new. The underside of the car was sprayed in a non textured bed liner spray to keep it from getting chipped up going down the road. both doors are oe doors-not new they need to be stripped down to metal and a few minor dings repaired. trunk lid is salvageable does have a few pin holes not near the edge so easy to get at and its on the inside not the outside. the trunk seal gutters both sides and back need to be replaced as the sides are missing and the rear top edge is just too rusted for a guy like me to live with. Front clip has NEW: drivers side fender, radiator support, both fender extensions and both upper and lower valance panels along with the SS hood. Passenger side fender does have a small rust bubble in the lower corner near the rocker that will need to be fixed but well worth it to use a nice factory part. the wiper cowl cover metal is a used one I picked up but not sure if i was going to use it or buy new yet either. SUSPENSION: New hotchkis front and rear springs nothing else is new. the front control arms were purchased used to get the car rollable again only to sell. I was going to go with tubular and bigger brakes. Sub frame has been cleaned up and painted and mounted with new body bushings but the rest needs to be gone through. REAR END: 3.55 posi 12-bolt rear end this has not been rebuilt. I was going to have it gone through but waiting about a year doesnt work for me. to my knowlege its ok and should just be cleaned with new seals but I dont know how good or bad the posi unit is or the shape of the gears. there is NO oil in the rear end right now will need to be trailered and not put on a car dolly. I do have all the side glass there the rear sides are not in the car back window and windsheild are not there. no window trim except a used lower one that is in not that great of shape. has correct factory seats in the car that need to be completely redone nothing else is there for interior. have the clutch pedals but nothing remains from the original drivetrain. I do have a 72 350 4bolt engine that needs to be gone through but has never been opened up that i will include either with the right buy it now offer or at an additional price of what the auctions ending is. i do not have hood hinges or a latch so the hood is just sitting there keep that in mind for transporting issues.
