The Mazda Miata M Edition series of vehicles are very desirable and sought after by Miata enthusiasts. Searching for a low mileage clean M Edition and finding one is like finding the ultimate Miata. Fairly expensive, they can sometimes be found priced as a regular used car, particularly if the seller has no idea what an M Edition is.

The series consisted mostly in the application of exclusive special paint colors, luxury interior features, special wheels and M Edition badges/logos throughout the interior and exterior of each car. The M Edition series (as produced by Mazda from the factory) does not offer any engine or suspension performance enhancements over the regular series MX-5 Miata nor were they sequentially numbered. Their VIN numbers are scattered throughout the regular run Miatas. M Editions are not sequentially numbered and their VIN numbers will be scattered throughout the regular run for each year. A total of 12,470 M Editions were manufactured throughout the 4 year run. The colors and features will make any M Edition stand out at a gathering of Miatas and the clean low mileage ones are harder and harder to find.

Record shows two owners. Miles are actual. There is no record of any accidents, no floods. There is a small dent on the front of driver side fender (see pictures) and the paint clear coat is peeling in some places. It has the original factory paint (code M8)

Interior is very good. Origina lM Edition floor mats are included but not pictured. Battery is new and tires are almost new (about 90%, see pictures)

Engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, steering, are all working in perfect conditions. The car needs no mechanical work, it drives perfect.

Top is all original, with zip rear glass and defroster, no cuts. There is an original tonneau cover.

Issues I found:

1. Clear coat peeling on hood and trunk
2. one small dent on driver fender
3. antena not lifting up
4. small knicks and scratches visible at close inspection
5. Boot (convertible top cover) is black therefore is a replacement (original is tan color)
