LOW RESERVE!! I bought this fun, great roadster 4 years ago as a weekend vehicle to enjoy in this great Florida weather. Well, it's time for a new toy, so I'm letting her go to a new home. I've driven her all the way from Tampa to Hilton Head, South Carolina and back, and she is just as capable on the highway as she was when she was new. The throaty V8 offers up plenty of power in all situations, yet drives very smoothly around town. CLEAN CARFAX AND CLEAN AUTOCHECK! My 560SL is not a show car, but is more of a weekend driver that could also be a daily driver if you so desired. It still turns heads wherever I go in her. It has been well taken care of, and will be enjoyed for another 150,000 miles. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 560SL since the day I bought it. I have a 1984 BMW 318i that is almost an antique, so I am going to dedicate my time to restoring that car to brand new since my mother bought it off the showroom in 1984. One toy is enough :-) The GoodStrong engine, new brakes, accident free, good top, interior is probably an 8 out of 10 for the age of the car, seats look great, wood trim is in good shape, exterior was repainted before I purchased and shines like new, both power windows work perfectly. The convertible soft top is in very good shape, and looks newer. Comes with a convertible hard top also if you're driving it up north where it's cold. The So-SoThe A/C blower motor makes a little noise probably 10% of the time (I will replace if purchased Buy it Now). There are a couple very small spots where the newer paint job has cracked, namely around the windshield wiper mounts. There are a couple bushings in the front end that creak, but do not affect how the car drives or handles (I will fix if purchased Buy it Now). The blower motor and bushings are inexpensive repairs. The visors in the 560SL's are notoriously problematic. I have replaced all the male and female visor clips, and one needs to be replaced again. I have ordered the clip, and will put the driver's side visor back in the car before it ships. The UglyWhen I bought the car, there were a couple things that did not work properly in the instrument cluster. All the important gauges work, but the gauge that shows gas mileage does not work. Overall Exterior - 8-9 out of 10 for a daily driver car that is 25 years old. Shines really well with no dings and very few blemishes. A head turner for sure.Overall Interior - 8-9 out of 10 for a daily driver car that is 25 years old. The interior looks great! No tears or rips at all. The springs are a little soft in the driver's seat, but the car has been driven for 25 years! The wood grain is in very good shape. The dash has no cracks. It has newer factory mats I installed after buying.Overall Engine - 8-9 out of 10 for a daily driver that is 25 years old. I've had it tuned up, and it drives and shifts very nicely. Still has lots of power. All in all, this is a really fun weekend car that will turns heads everywhere. It is not perfect, but you can drive this car and not worry. Don't buy one that has been ragged out or not taken care of. This is a great car for a 25-year-old vehicle! You will love it!
