Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevrolet C 10 Truck 350 V8 / Turbo 350 AT 2wd 8ft Bed Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes, 110 amp Chrome Alternator, Halogen Light Upgrade, LED lights, & all new Filters. Odometer reads 31,847 But probably 131,857 Bad points: -Needs TLC -Has transmission leak -Needs Paint or really good buffing -Needs new exhaust tip, has 1 of 2 -Has rust in bed and inside drivers side cab near windshield -Needs new driver's side cab corner -Has rip in Bench seat, has new cover -Passenger side door/window handles are not attached -No AC option-Somebody Pulled the Horn wire from fuse block so that needs pugging in.-Will pass inspection if new headlights or cut extra wires in Halogen headlights. Depends on where you go. If interested and Local the car is up for view (Non Pressure) off of Virginia Beach Blvd and Newtown Rd (well one light up from Newtown Rd. Virginia Beach Blvd and Davis St). Also I found the Video of it in Kentucky that sold me on it when I bought it. Has had a few upgrades since then. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAxrRRO_rXo Thanks for Looking. On Feb-05-13 at 14:06:11 PST, seller added the following information: Few extra things This is what I call a 10-20 ft truck it looks good driving down the road and when you stand back. Needs paint and sanding. The picture was taken a few months ago after it was washed in the sun. If you plan on trying to drive it home it does have a trans leak and I would plan to stop to put in fluid. That being said I recommend towing. Not sure where the leaks are could be where the new pan is installed and from up top. The Trans Shop that I took it to recommended a reseal at $400. Its Brake Master cylinder was just done and probably should have painted it before it went in. Along with the water pump that was done a few years ago (should have been painted). They water pump however led to a discovery that the engine is a 73+. The reason for selling is the Normal excuses. I don't have time, Travel alot, and Last Project in, Last Project out. Also I'm moving towards 4x4 and 15yr old Toyotas. (well changing some projects to 15yr old toyotas from 30-50 yr old Projects. Also this truck is 41 yrs old. And does have rust. I don't know why it didn't load some pictures but I will continue to try. I reserve the right cancel this auction due to it being for sale locally. Also I will need you to email me if you don't have at least 5 feedback to assess your seriousness. This truck was for sale on eBay a few months ago and due to a none paying bidder did not sell. And I lost alot of money due to the eBay fees and the fact that I had to go out of town. Lastly its tax season and if you don't have the money to buy, pay off, and pickup don't bid. There are alot of people interested in this truck and I want to move it. This is my 3rd time trying to update this info (lots of retyping thanks to eBay) so sorry if this sounds short. On Feb-06-13 at 17:01:22 PST, seller added the following information: Okay next update. There is a problem with eBay and I can't upload pictures. just got off the phone with them and they are considering I restart the auction. but we'll see I say keep going and email me for more pics. when I say normal rust for the truck, I kinda mean google it. (Bed, Cab corners, Windshield, etc) The bed floor is kinda bad over the rear axle. but supports weight fine. just the thin sheet metal. I always have used wood anyways and make it easier to slide things and motorcycles in and out. there is some surface rust on the headlight rings, air filter cover and any screws not protected. I was considering that TLC. Again great running Project Truck.
