Owned this truck since Feburary 2012. I have been using it as an everyday driver for the last 4 months and before that used it around three days out of the week. I bought the truck for a second vehicle with the intent of fixing it up and painting it in the spring time. Plans changed.. It has always been good to me up until now. There seems to be some noise intermittently coming from the driver side rear wheel. Truck will drive fine for miles and then you hear metal to metal noise for a second or two then it stops and it's back to normal. I pulled the wheel off and it is not the brakes. I believe it has to do with the axle or wheel bearings, but I'm no mechanic. Come take a look at it yourself and you can decide. Vehicle can still be driven although you may want to tow it if you need to take it long distance. I have been driving back and forth from work (12 miles) but it is only a matter the time until something gives, so I decided to park it. My loss, your gain. Actual milage unknown - Title check says truck has 171,000 miles, dash says 82,500 miles (see note 9). Some other things that may need attention are: 1) Driver side floor pan needs repaired. 2) Driver side seat belt needs to be bolted down. 3) Turn signal switch works, but doesn't turn off automatically when you make left hand turns. (I always have turned it off manually) 4) Engine oil dipstick tube broke off. (I keep the remainder of the tube plugged and the broken off tube and gauge stick behind the truck seat which still can be used to measure the oil level) 5) Check engine light is on - though engine seems to run fine 6) Glove box door does not stay closed. 7) Radio does not work 8) Rust over both rear fenders, see pictures. 9) Speedo works off and on. If you hit a tripometer it starts woorking again. Truck is inspected until April 2013. Would make a great fixer upper project, farm truck, scrap metal truck, landscapers truck, etc
