Vehicle Detail

1968 Mercury Cougar XR7. This is an all original, unmolested car. It has been sitting in a garage for the past 15 years, The fluids were changed and it started right up. It runs very well and the transmission shifts very smooth. The specs are as follows:- 302 4v V8 Engine- C4 Transmission- 3.00:1 gears - Sunlight Gold Paint- Nugget Gold Interior This car is from the original owners and is as original as it was when they drove it off the lot. Interior is in excellent condition, Exterior paint needs to be repainted, unless you like the original Patina look. The owners stored cleaning supplies on the hood of the car while it was in the garage. The supplies eventually leaked on the hood and destroyed the paint as you can see from the photos. The vinyl top needs redone, otherwise this car is ready to go. Tires are brand new, Brakes are good and does not leak or burn oil. Floors are solid and rust free. This is a very nice original car to restore or drive like it is. The vehicle is on a non op registration that is current thru 04/13. Car comes w/ original manuals, owner card and black Ca. license plate. Shipping of the car will be the responsibility of winning bidder, I will be more than happy to assist in any way I can. Please e-mail or call w/ any questions.714-292-8842 Thank you.On Feb-03-13 at 11:45:13 PST, seller added the following information: I am sorry I left this out on the vehicle description: Vin# 8R93J515465 Data Tag Info: 65B Y 6Y 08C 52 5 W On Feb-04-13 at 10:32:51 PST, seller added the following information: Hello, I have had quite a few questions about the a/c. It was blowing cool but not real cold so I figured it would need to be recharged. after some trouble shooting this morning I found that the temperature control cable was out of alignment and was not allowing the temp to go all the way to cold. after a small adjustment it when on cold temp setting the a/c is blowing nice and cold. Thanks for your questions and comments. Tommy
