Produced by Plymouth from 1968 - 1974 there are very limited units available today on the streets or in the collector / enthusiast marketplace. The interior of this automobile is in excellent condition from front to back. Completely restored by a professional, it displays the classic original look. The dash and seats are in excellent condition as shown in the pics. This was the pride and joy of the previous owner and was store indoors since acquired. The exterior has been completely restored and the only imperfection in the paint is some small bubbling and chipping on the roof, please see the pics. Other then that minor flaw, the paint is in awesome condition, with no signs of rust or structural damage underneath. The frame is clear from any damage. Mechanically this Plymouth V-8 starts and runs great. The engine idles smooth and there are no leaks around the head gasket or underneath. The transmission shifts on point, and it is enjoyable to drive this vehicle due to a solid suspension all around. Overview(Second Generation Sebring)Along with a significant restyling and a higher trim Sport Satellite model was introduced in 1968, at which time the Belvedere name was relegated to the low-trim base models. 1968 was also the first year that the Satellite line was expanded beyond the 2-door hardtop and convertible, when a 4-door sedan and station wagon were offered. The 1968 body continued through 1970, with a minor front and rear restyling for 1970, which was the last year for the Belvedere name. 1968 was also the first year for the Plymouth Roadrunner which shared the same body as the Satellite and Belvedere models. A significant restyling was done for 1971 as the Satellite adopted new "fuselage" styled bodies, with different wheelbases, grilles, and sheet metal for two- and four-door models. Sedans were available in base, Custom and Brougham trim, while two doors were called Satellite (a base coupe with rear windows that did not roll down), Satellite Sebring and Satellite Sebring Plus. Station wagons came in base, Custom or wood-trimmed Regent models. Two-door models had an unusual loop-type front bumper (a period styling trend), and this body was the basis for the related GTX and Roadrunner models. Two-door models received a more conventional front end and squared up sheet metal and rear side windows for 1973, while the sedans and wagons adopted large 5 mph (8.0 km/h) bumpers for 1974. There will be a $199.00 processing fee on all vehicles sold by Capital Auto Auction. Buyers with less then five (5) feedback will need to contact Capital Auto Auction prior to bidding or their bids may be canceled. Seller reserves the right to end auction at anytime without notice. Please check sellers location as Capital Auto Auction does sell cars from different locations. NOTE: Pennsylvania Residents are required to pay sales tax and title transfer fees at time of purchase and/or pickup.
Storage Fees
Any car left on our lot will begin to incur storage at a rate of $20.00 per day starting on the 14th day after the end of the auction. Cars that are paid for and left on our lot more then 45 days will be disposed of and/or will be impounded and Capital Auto Auction will apply for title to subsidize storage fees.
