The two-door Corniche models launched in 1971 with production successfully continuing through 1995, before a re-introduction in 2000. Purchased new on June 4, 1973 by a Ms. Emily Fisher of Rye, New York, this particular example is considered the more desired of the first series Corniche, sporting chrome rubberless bumpers. The FHC is adorned with all of the luxuries available and wears Coffee Bean Brown paint over Parchment interior hides with tan top. Well preserved, this car remains exceptionally original throughout with no signs of cosmetic restoration. Typical age patina is visible on surfaces. Mechanically, the coupe operates suitably including the lights, instruments and VDO clock. The original Instructional Manual and service booklet in pouch accompany the Rolls-Royce. The stately, elegant and remarkably luxurious Corniche was one of the most desirable and distinctive Rolls-Royces ever offered – And now a lasting symbol of prestige the world over.
