Vehicle Detail
This '66 convertible is Dressed to the 9's and loaded with Options including Mustang Fog Lights, Deluxe Chrome Luggage Rack, Rally Wheels Styled Steel, Power Automatic Convertible Top, Dual Red Band Tires in addition to new INDY 500 FIREHAWK Firestones, Dual Exhaust Flow-Masters, Hi-Po Mustang Chrome Engine Dress Up Kit, Rare Ford Mustang RALLY-PAC with working RPMs and Clock, Mustang AM-FM-Cassette, Black Interior Carpet with Full Length Console featuring interior Courtesy Lights, Two-Speed Electric Wipers and Washers. Vintage Air Conditioning, an Edelbrock Intake Manifold and Edelbrock 4-bbl Carburetor has also been added for performance and comfort. I met the late Carroll Shelby at the "Mustang and All Ford Show" in Indianappolis in 2002 where Sally earned "First Place" in her Class. Mr. Shelby personally signed/autographed the Passenger side Sun-Visor and I also have pics of me and her "circling the track" of the INDY 500 three times. Originally restored, she is a major trophies winner including Bests of Shows, Best Ford's, Mayor's Choice and well over 100 First Places, Top 10's and Class Winners. She is perfect for Car Shows and events and/or for Cruising down the Road. The 289-V8 was completely overhauled prior to my purchasing the car in 1999 and I have had no problems whatsoever with her performance or dependability. I will part with a sizeable collection of personal memoribilia I have collected since purchasing the Mustang. Air Brushed T-Shirts featuring Sally, Large framed photographs including the car at the Indy 500, 10' X 3' Marketing Banner for Mustang Sally Productions which features this car, Newspaper articles and promotional articles featuring her, and miscellaneous authentic Mustang Cars and various Collectibles. Mustang Sally was born Sept 30, 1966 and was the 124,373rd Mustang to come out of the Ford Assembly Plant in Detroit, MI. She was Delivered to Cincinnati, OH (DSO). I purchased her in 1999 in Ohio and immediately named her "Mustang Sally." She has been a pampered family member ever since. (I oversaw her Frame-Up Restoration in 2002.) I am parting with her personal reasons. Shipping will be handled and paid for by Buyer and Payment must be paid in full and "cleared/received" by Seller prior to Vehicle and Title being released.
