For sale we have this RARE 1997 Volkswagen Passat featuring the reliable & durable 1.9L TDI Turbo DIESEL engine. This car was recently traded in for a newer vehicle. The weather at the moment is near zero here in CT and the motor started right up with no issues, it idles perfect and the motor is smooth, after all with 115-K miles this motor hasn't even broken in yet. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts perfect thru out all the gear and the clutch grabs strong! All 4 tires on the car are in great shape with plenty of tread remaining. The outside body on the vehicle has some rust on the wheel wale as seen in the picture and there is spray paint in the rear trunk area as well as some here and there. The interior has a rip on the driver's seat (you can sew it easily) and also the roof cover is missing, as you know they always come out. All 4 doors open and close with no issues. All 4 windows go up and down. The car has an after market CD Player. The heat is nice and warm. Cruise control works good. Timing Belt + Water-pump was already done once. Over all this car mechanically is great, besides the roof and the spray paint this car is in great shape! You cannot find this passats in low miles as their all with well over 200-K's on them. If you don't care a lot about the little things that I mentioned on the car then you will love this car!
