1968 PONTIAC FIREBIRD 400 HO **FRAME OFF RESTORATION** **4 SPEED** This 1968 Pontiac Firebird has only ever known one owner..The original owner bought this car new in 1968 and it has always been in storage its entire life..Well about five years ago he decided to restore it back to new..so he did a complete frame off restoration..It was completed in 2009..It only has about 4500 miles on it since being restored..The paint still looks like its dripping wet..It shines really really well..The wheels and tires are brand new and I bought them a month ago..They look nice..The chrome and trim was all replaced as new also..the exterior is perfect..The interior of the car was completely restored as well..It was all redone..It looks like it just come off the showroom floor..The only flaw is the passenger sun visor has come loose..The only flaw on the car..Its nothing major..The engine was completely gone through and rebuilt..It has roller rockers with an enske cam..It is the original 400 HO engine that come with the car..It also has a muncie 4 speed..The performance 400 HO wields 330 horsepower with a 4.1224-inch bore and 3.754-inch stroke. It has the highest compression ratio, 10.75:1, to develop 430 ft.-lbs. of torque.It has dual exhaust with hooker headers..The car runs and sounds great..Not too mention it is absolutely beautiful..I have a low reserve on the car.
