Up for auction is my 2004 Subaru WRX STI. I bought her off the showroom floor and owned ever since. 132K miles. Most of the miles on the car were put on when I used to commute from LA to San Diego for about 2 years. One drive and you will see that most of the miles were freeway miles---car is extremely solid with no rattles or squeaks. Car has NO mods and has been stock since day 1 except for the deletion of the rear wing and a JDM factory CD player and MB Quart front speakers. Holes on the new trunk where the wing used to sit are filled and undetectable and professionally done. Body and interior condition are consistent with a car of this age. Car has NEVER been tracked or street raced. 1 Owner, Always garaged, No Accidents, Clean Car Fax and Instavin and clear title in hand. Car has zero mechanical issues. In the 10 years I have owned her, I can actually say that I experienced no issues, mechanical or otherwise, except for a sticky cup holder. A rust-free always California car. I'm quickly learning that stock cars like this are extremely rare, especially in this color (java black pearl) which apparently is the only year they made that color. Breaks my heart to sell....but need the funds to finance my last semester of nursing school. Reserve set very low for a quick sale before school starts. Things to know ... Pros: Engine runs strong and idles extremely smooth. Transmission shifts very smooth (fluids replaced at 94K with Subaru extra S gear oil) Super straight body. Timing belt/tensioner replaced at 113K including water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs. Oil changed religiously every 3K miles with factory recommended 5-30W oil. Plenty of receipts including original and spare key, factory alarm, and original window sticker. Recent tire change at 127K and radiator flush just done. Replaced front and rear struts at 127K. I will also include the original pink struts with the sale which I replaced because of a clunking noise---notorious with 04 STi's from what I have been told. Just got an alignment yesterday (1/20/2013). Right front and rear wheel rash Front top hats will need to be replaced soon. Some oxidized spots on the paint (the size of a quarter) due to bird doo which I was told can easily be buffed out. Some bike chain grease on the rear carpet tunnel area---I didn't opt for a bike rack so I occasionally transported my bike in the car.This should easily come off with a good shampoo. Some scratches on the rear of the center console---again, due to me transporting my bike in the car. Drivers seat has the usual wear and tear on the left lumbar For the life of me I can’t find the rear mats. I just want to add that the car has never disappointed me and I trust that it will run another 100,000 miles easily. I have taken great care of this car to this point and I really hope this goes to a good owner and one that understands the rarity of these cars. I was ready to take this one to the grave!
