We welcome International bidders however this vehicle is in Dallas Texas 75229,its a VERY long drive to Europe,please consider shipping costs when bidding (we'll help you with the logistics) Once again its a 1978 Ford Fairmont "Drift Car". A very unique piece of Machinery built by the world famous Gas Monkey Garage on the hit show "Fast n Loud". Well over $40,000 to duplicate this build. We started with a clean & solid 1978 Ford Fairmont, flared the front & rear fenders to accomodate 20X8 & 20X10 Savini rims w/245/35 20 & 285/30 20 Nitto tires.Installed a '86 Mustang 5.0 w/ an E Cam,Edelbrock Air Gap Intake,750 Demon 4bbl carb exhausting through a custom system built with a crossover pipe & Flowmasters.Power transfers through a '86 Mustang T5 transmission w/short throw shifter to a Mustang 8.8 Posi unit w/4:10 gears & c clip eliminators. We installed Hotchkis lower trailing arms,solid upper mounts on the rear axle,adjustablle upper strut mounts,KYB shocks and over sized sway bars front & rear. Then we upgraded the brakes to an Aerospace 5 lug Disc conversion w/dual rear calipers (second caliper actuated by Wilwood hand lever) to induce oversteer for drifting. Built a custom full roll cage w/door bars,installed Corbeau race seats w/ 4 point race harnesses and installed additional gauges & a large tach w/shift indicator. Then for a unique look we had a Chrome vinyl wrap applied to the exterior w/ custom Gas Monkey Garage graphics and a killer hood ornament (see all pics!) This is a killer car for track events( you can't build anything near this competitive for the reserve price) that is street legal and can be driven everyday in comfort and style with cold A/C & a Pioneer Super Tuner am/fm/cd unit.
